WELCOME


Welcome to our site. The Wings of Victory is a Christian organization formed to keep seniors active and social as they advance in age. The minimum age to become a member is 55 years old. We have several ministries, activities for everyone. Our ministries include Praise dancing, Drama, poetry reading and writing, drama and Bible study. We are located in Trevose, Pa. (Bucks County). We also have a newsletter published monthly. All of our programs have experienced great success. We attribute this to keeping God at the forefront and in the midst of everything we do. Wings of Victory Ministries

       Praise Dancing

Our Praise Dance Ministry started in January, 2004.  It was not intended to dance in public but God had other plans for this ministry. In February 2004 we were asked to dance at a Black history program at our church and asked again to do so later that year. The rest is history. Each year we receive several requests to dance in service to God. We have danced at banquets, family reunions an older adult conference, and other venues.

The group is made up members from ten different churches. all of our members have a heartfelt desire to worship through movement. Age is not an obstacle in this ministry. The age range for our members is from 57 to 100.

Our director and choreographer is Paula McCoy. She is a school teacher.. She pulls the best from each of the dancers. She believes in us and helps us believe in ourselves.

We thank God for blessing us to be able to move to the music and using us as vessels to touch the lives of others.

           Exercise

Exercise is very important for seasoned citizens to lead an active life.  Our exercise ministry helps tp keep our member healthy and participating  in our events as well as having a balanced life.Our exercise minsitry includes meeting several time a week to walk indoors or do other exercises.We try to make it a fun time and everyone participates at their own level.
